
Welcome to My Journey to Health Blog
I am just an ordinary wife and mom who is passionate about my faith, my family, and my health. I love sweets (especially chocolate chip cookies), board games, playing volleyball and golf, and spending time with my family. I was a high school athlete who slowly gained weight in my 20's and then gained over 50 pounds with my first pregnancy. After having kids I became very interested in how best to lose weight and get in shape again. I have read books, listened to podcasts, followed blogs, tried different diets, talked to doctors, done many different workouts, and searched online for ways to get back in shape and regain my health. Over the last 10 years I have learned so much while working hard to regain my health and get fit again. I still have daily struggles and fitness goals I am trying to reach. (If only cookies and candy bars didn't exist!) This blog is my way to share tips about what I've learned along the way in my journey to health.
